George's Story
"I came to college largely irreligious. I believed in God, but only as a far-off, distant, and unknowable creator. The first few weeks of my freshmen year I began looking around trying to find my place in the new environment. One afternoon, I was hungry and I saw Young Life just outside my dorm having a grill out. I went down on a whim to go grab a burger. But while I was down there I met the most welcoming and friendliest community I had seen. And I kept coming back to all the events they had. Soon I started going to the small group, and started learning about God for the first time. My misconceptions about him were cleared up and I could clearly see how much God loved the world even in its brokenness. Not long after I devoted my life to Christ and have never been the same. I will always be grateful to Young Life College for showing me Jesus and forever changing my life."
